Wonder Lake Sunset — Photo from Wonder Lake Neighbors
Note from the Executive Director
It has been a while since the Chamber has had a Newsletter and I am happy to bring back this wonderful resource to Wonder Lake residents. It is my hope that you will find it informative. This is also an amazing way to network and advertise for you and your business.
Now that school is back in session, the more leisurely days of summer will give way to academic and fall sports activities. While we are getting back into school routines, we want to remind you to slow down and watch out for pedestrians. Take extra care to look out for children in school zones and be mindful of bicyclists. Keeping our Village safe requires the efforts of the entire community but it starts with each individual.
The Chamber is here to promote all things Wonder Lake! If you are a local businessman, we want to help you succeed. If your organization is having a local event we’ll get the word out. If you are a resident, we will keep you informed and help you shop locally to keep your money in our community.
I am starting to compile a list of all of the Wonder Lake Businesses, if you would like to add yours please email or call the Chamber. I know there are a ton of businesses based in Wonder Lake that I would LOVE TO PROMOTE, if I only knew who you were. I truly believe that we should all shop local and shop small!!! I want us to support one another.
We need YOU!!!! The Chamber is only as effective and successful as the people who participate. How does your business survive and grow if no one knows what you do? We hope that you will make the Chamber part of your marketing strategy. Our Mission Statement is “to create value and opportunity for (our) members with the belief that a positive business climate is an integral part of a healthy community.” Consider investing in a Chamber membership.
Finally, I would just like to say, I am honored to be a part of the Wonder Lake Chamber and this AMAZING community! I would appreciate if you would take a moment to give me any feedback, comments or news you might like to share in our Newsletter.
Respectfully, Celeste Fuentes

These days, it is near impossible to have a successful business without a website. But more than that, you'll begin to lose customers and revenue when your users find your website difficult to use. It is no longer just about having a website. You need to have a website that is user-friendly. And if mobile users cannot visit your website, it is less likely you will connect with your target audience, and make a sale.
We have been been building beautiful cost-effective websites for 23 years for business, local government and nonprofits of all sizes. Contact Wonderwave Design for more information about creating or updating your website.
Chamber members can use this newsletter to get in touch with the community. If you would like to have something added to our next issue going out in November, please do not hesitate to contact us.
We have an outdoor sign which can be used by Chamber members, clubs, churches and organizations to promote events in Wonder Lake. If interested, please contact the Chamber at email@example.com or give us a call.
